Darcy plays no games when it comes to men. In her eyes, men are only good for one thing and that is what they carry between their legs. She is a proud mad black woman and likes to thank her fiancé that left her high and dry just months before their wedding for that. Mickey has heard the story way too many times, she loves her girl but is getting tired of telling her love is money and to hell with all that other mess. Mickey has never known love and looking at Darcy, she never wanted to. Chante was low-key holding something the other two wanted for themselves and that was family. Chante has the husband and working on a baby, little do her friends know, she is far from having it made, she was holding onto a secret that threatens to destroy everything.
Crossed in Love in now available through Amazon.com as well as my website krysking.com.
I've always enjoyed stories; reading them and sharing them. I started out writing poetry, even had some published nationally as a child. Writing a book was something I just knew was inevitable. Being afraid of failing was the thing that kept it from happening sooner, but when my three year old son got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2016 I figured if he could be so brave than so could I. Putting the pedal to the medal, I had Crossed in Love finished the same year and this is only the beginning!
You can definitely say this novel is my baby! Self-publishing is no joke but it's worth it. Going through months of trying to find an agent take you on to get a traditional publishing deal can eat at you and have you questioning everything when you receive rejection after rejection.
If I could do anything different it would absolutely be paying whatever I have to pay to get professional editing (I think the highest quote I got was $2300)...not everyone is professional, make sure you get a sample of what they can do for you before you pay anything.
Crossed in Love is a great book and it won't be my last. If you decide to check it out, Thank you!
I end this with keep writing, keep dreaming, and keep believing!
